Students who are considering a field in
Aviation
at SDSU must meet the requirements of South Dakota State University.
At this time the only additional
requirement for the aviation program is a second class aviation medical certificate. This medical is essential for pilots
who wish to fly professionally, and it is necessary for a student to know that they
can obtain such a medical prior to enrolling. The FAA offers a list of physicians who may provide first class aviation
