These figures are estimates of the costs,
based upon flight times incurred by the student who progresses at an average rate
of performance. Accelerated performance, or likewise, less than average performance,
will either decrease or increase costs for some courses. These costs are subject
to change in accordance with contracted providers, with any changes discussed with
students prior to incorporation of new costs.
Flight costs are included in a student's budget when determining the financial aid
award. They are in addition to tuition, fees, and any other incidental expenses
which are normally charged during registration. In order for the Financial
Aid OFfice to know that the student has flight costs that need funding, the student
must be enrolled in aviation courses. Itemized flight costs for that school
year are available in the Student Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid
Office will award any additional Stafford Loans based on those flight costs and
process the additional aid. If the student has already been awarded the maximum
aid, or if the aid that has been offered is not sufficient to cover cost, there
are several alternative (commercial) loans for which the student may apply.
The loan applications are available at the Financial Aid Office.
