(IMC) and are also equipped with Global Positioning Systems (GPS).

to more challenging equipment.
Cessna 172RG
This aircraft has a constant speed propeller and retractable landing gear. Commercial students will receive the
complex aircraft endorsement in this airplane, and the flight instructor candidates
will fly this aircraft in preparation for the Certified Flight Instructor check
ride.
Piper PA44-180 Seminole
The Piper Seminole has proven itself to be an excellent multi-engine training aircraft. Commercial students will spend approximately
fifteen hours of the final training in this aircraft before taking the FAA Commercial
Checkride.
Frasca Tru-Flite Flight Training Device (FTD)
The Frasca FTD arrived last fall and has been utilized a great deal.
It features a 170 degree wrap-around visual and allows students to practice
emergencies and flights in conditions that would not be safe in a real airplane. Students may use the FTD a designated
number of hours for each certificate sought, and it is an excellent learning, training,
and teaching tool.
