 Laura began working as
an office assistant for the Aviation Program, as well as for the College of Education
and Counseling, in August of 2007. She grew up in Chamberlain, graduating
from Chamberlain High School in 2000. Bies worked for several years at the
South Dakota Hall of Fame in Chamberlain before moving to Sioux Falls in 2003, where
she taught training classes at Communication Services for the Deaf. She married
Jarett Bies in August 2005, and they recently bought a home in Elkton.
