Ryan S. Phillips is an Assistant Professor of Aviation Education with South Dakota State University.  Ryan is a graduate and former Certified Flight Instructor of Western Michigan University's College of Aviation in Battle Creek, MI.  He is Commercially Certificated in single and multi-engine aircraft and also has current Certified Flight Instructor Gold Seal Instrument and Multi-Engine Certificates.  Ryan is also a graduate of WMU's full-motion 737 jet bridge course where he obtained the skill sets necessary to operate a large jet aircraft.  He has a Master's in Career and Technical Education also from Western Michigan University and is currently pursuing his Air Transport Pilot Certificate.
